Introduction

Hello everyone and welcome to a blog spot set up for members of LOGAN AND ALBERT CONSERVATION ASSOCIATION.
This webdiary can be used to report, discuss or raise issues in a less formal way than on our website.
During 2007 we held a series of community workshops and events focusing on the vulnerable koala - who along with its habitat, we believe, is disappearing at an alarming rate.
This year 2008 we are again holding a series of community workshops and events to discuss broader wildlife issues.

Wednesday 14 May at Kerry Memorial Hall is booked for a community public meeting. Members of LACA ( Logan and Albert Conservation Associan Inc.) and the wider community are concerned about the recent toxic aerial spray drift incidents that have occurred near and at Spring Creek, at Darlington State School and surrounding areas especially Mt Mahomet.
Scenic Rim councillors have been invited to attend. More details here soon. Email vegetation@laca.org.au to register. Visit the website for more information.
